At Forbes Marshall, we have
the capacity to positively impact the society around us,
and therefore we must.
Energising
Communities
The communities where we operate have been instrumental in helping us build our business. Giving back to the communities has been one of our top priorities. We partner with local organisations that focus on education for children, skilling for youth and mobilising women through self help groups that enable them to earn. We also provide healthcare for families to ensure long term wellness.
We work in Kasarwadi, Morwadi, Bopkhel and the Chakan belt
Investing in a
better future
The Forbes Marshall Foundation was set up in 2012 to invest in organisations and strategic social innovation projects that are in Maharashtra, but outside our immediate geographic communities. We focus on tackling pressing issues in education, building resilience in communities, and supporting good governance. By investing in future innovations, we believe that we can collaboratively tackle some of the most pressing but unsupported issues faced by our society.
Over the past 40 years, we have strived to build resillience in communities through improved healthcare, access to education and women empowerment.

Responding to COVID
Communities in underserved areas have been severely impacted by COVID-19 with regards to health, safety, and livelihood. Forbes Marshall contributed to immediate COVID relief in our project areas by providing food and providing ration kits to over 700 families.
Supporting migrant workers
We have supported the Zilla Parishad, Pune, in their efforts to provide food grains to migrant workers in the Pune area.
1000 meals per day
To ensure that our community was supported with basic meal requirements, the Forbes Marshall Kasarwadi canteen served as a community kitchen for 20 days in May, providing 1000 meals per day.
WOrking with Gov. & hospitals
Our efforts to assist health and safety included collaborating with the Government and Pune hospitals to provide funds for medical equipment and floor disinfectants.
Rebuilding livelihoods
we recognised the need to rebuild livelihoods for families who lost their source of income due to the lock-down. We worked with the women of our communities to generate income through stitching masks.
supporting non profit organisations
we have supported the Future of Impact Collaborative – an initiative to support NGOs working towards building resilience in underserved communities.
We only grow as much as our communities grow.
Giving back has always been an integral part of how we approach our work at Forbes Marshall.
