Since 2015, iTeach Schools has been redefining education for under-resourced children in Pune and Mumbai. With 12 free, high-impact schools and the College to Career (C2C) Program, they are not just helping students complete their education but also guiding them toward sustainable careers—breaking the cycle of poverty.

For students from low-income communities across India, the transition from school to college is filled with challenges—financial constraints, lack of guidance, social pressures, and the risk of early dropouts. As a result, only 27% of Indian students enroll in college. (Source: AISHE, 2020)

To bridge this critical gap, iTeach Schools launched the College to Career Program in 2017, providing alumni with comprehensive support at every stage of their higher education and career journey. To assess the program’s impact on its first two alumni batches, iTeach, with support from the Forbes Foundation, conducted a Social Impact Assessment. The findings were officially launched on January 10, 2025.
