I had been a part of the CII-FM Instrumentation training Batch-25 held in 2018.

This has been one of the best decisions I have taken in my life. I had been working with GlaxoSmithKline for a year before joining the training. I still remember the first day of the training, all anxious faces with a spark in their eyes to achieve something better, standing in front of the A31 block.

The day began with Dhamankar Sir introducing and welcoming each one of us to the Forbes Marshall family. Since then it has been a roller coaster ride. I was elected as the Class Monitor for the batch. This role helped me bring out the leadership qualities in me. It helped me work with different people and imbibed a team spirit in me. Dhamankar Sir was a mentor to each one of us. He always insisted on perfection in each small work done. I realised with time that every small detail counts in the professional world. There was SWOT analysis conducted for each person individually wherein they could discuss their strengths and weaknesses with Dhamankar Sir. This helped each one of us groom in a better way realising our potentials and work towards our weaknesses.

And speaking on the personal part, the friendships made here were the best. We used to celebrate birthdays together, had outings and helped each other grow in our personal and professional life. And this small journey became one of the best phases of my life. Dhamankar Sir with his experience and guidance has groomed me into a more independent, bold and strong professional.

The training has indirectly helped me grab a job in my dream company. With time this has proved to be one of the best decisions of my life. It has been almost 3 years I have been associated with Forbes Marshall and currently I am serving as a Planning Engineer in Steam System division(SSD), Chakan facility.

One thing that I learned is, in life always grab the opportunities at your door, you never know what can become a turning point of your life.
