Town Hall by Rati Forbes

An in-depth look at Forbes Marshall’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Rati shared insights into our approach to creating positive change and how our community work aligns with our business goals.

Charkha Workshop

Led by Mr Madhav Sahasrabudhe, this workshop showcased the Charkha as not just a spinning wheel but a symbol of India’s rich heritage and a practical pathway to eco-friendly living. Mr Sahasrabudhe, who hasn’t purchased a single piece of clothing in 12 years, shared his inspiring journey of spinning yarn from loose cotton, weaving it into cloth, and stitching his garments – a testament to the power of traditional practices in promoting sustainability.

Cool the Globe

We hosted an engaging online session led by Prachi Sevgaonkar. This workshop helped participants understand climate change and its impacts through real-life stories while identifying achievable, fun, and consistent ways to take action. The session also provided practical tools for setting achievable, micro-steps that fit seamlessly into personal lifestyles, such as reducing energy consumption, minimising waste, and supporting eco-friendly practices. Participants left with a clear understanding of how to quantify the impact of these actions, turning sustainability into a measurable and rewarding experience.

Blood Donation Camp

The blood donation drive was held in response to requests received from Blood Bank about scarcity of blood in the city. We are proud of the dedication shown by our team in contributing to this noble cause.
