Forbes Marshall Piston Actuated Valve FMPAV
The Forbes Marshall Piston Actuated Valve, FMPAV, is a 2-port pneumatically actuated on/off valve. FMPAV has a PTFE soft seal which provides a tight shut-off. These piston actuated valves are designed to be used on steam, water, air, oil, and gases.
Forbes Marshall Piston Actuated Valves are available in three variants:
– Normally Closed: Normally closed piston actuated valves are designed for under the seat flow and can be used to prevent water hammer on valve closure in liquid applications.
– Normally Open: Normally open piston actuated valves are designed for over the seat flow applications.
– Bidirectional: These are normally closed bidirectional piston actuated valves designed for special applications that require flow in both directions.
- Anti-water hammer option for liquid flow applications.
- Also available with optional flow regulator, pilot solenoids, travel switch.
- Burnished steam guide with self-aligning gland.
- Rugged design makes the piston actuated valves suitable for adverse plant conditions.
- Provides tight shutoff with ANSI class VI isolation.
