Angle Blowdown Valves
Forbes Marshall angle type blowdown valves have a unique plug design that ensures suspended solid particles & sludge are continuously drained. This helps avoid scaling and erosion in the steam lines. These valves are suitable for high-pressure drain and continuous blowdown service. Typical applications for this valve are Boiler Drum Continuous Blow Down and Turbine Drain Lines.
- Pneumatic or electric actuator options available
- Multistage designed for pressure drop as high as 200 Bar
- Anti cavitations design for drain application
- Special slotted and parabolic plug design.
- Velocities are restricted to 2-3 m/s inside the valve when used on hot water services
- Valve yolk provided with roller thrust bearing for ease of operation
- No leakage through gland packing
