Forbes Marshall Museum – bridge between the past and the present!

Where would you get to see a boiler from pre-independence days alongside technology that goes into the missile age? All this and more is showcased in the recently set up Forbes Marshall museum that exhibits the past, the present, the credentials, the family, the people, the associations and not to forget the technical innovations of the company spanning over six decades.

The museum is designed to realistically stimulate and entertain. It is a well-crafted bridge between the past and the present with new embellishments regularly to maintain the interest of the visitors. A cozy lounge area welcomes you to browse through the elaborate and comprehensive library. The company has collected some of their very old products from various industries in India and abroad to showcase them in the museum. It has a boiler from Century Mills, which has been used for around 40 years! They have displayed their recent and advanced state-of-the-art products along with the old to showcase various stages of innovation and technology. The Museum is divided into various alcoves that covers new products, pillars of the organisation, joint venture associates and partners, the case for Steam and control instrumentation, our history of conferences and CSR initiatives. The concept behind this Museum is to make a lively place in the premises that has three essential qualities just like the BBC had when it was established-To inform, educate and entertain.
