On 8 September 2023, Forbes Marshall Indonesia conducted a seminar on “Energy Saving and Improvement Opportunities in Steam Systems” at Surabaya, Indonesia. More than 80 people from 32 different industries came to this event. It was a diverse forum starting from food industries, beverages, paper and corrugators, refineries, garment and textile, and feed mills. Most of the stakeholders came for the event to get clarity on how to improve the steam system.
As an organization with 75+ years in the steam system, we shared our knowledge and experience on how to have a proper and efficient steam system starting from the boiler house, distribution, and utilization. We also discussed some of the key products such as Compact Module Thermodynamic Trap and Two Orifice Float Trap which have inline maintenance features that will help the customer to maintain the trap uptime always at a higher level of more than 95%.
In the end, all participants looked satisfied and hoped to have another session in the future to discuss specific issues relating to their plant and process.
