Senior Engineer – Sales
Summary:
Field Sales is responsible for building a strong understanding of customer needs and provides solutions to potential customers by scanning, visiting and studying plant processes. This is a customer centric role that works on establishing strong connects with the customers so as to enable a long sustainable relationship.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
a. Experience in selling boilers, steam accessories, engineering equipment
b. Experience with greenfield projects, OEMs, Contractors
c. Selling based on benefits
d. Capturing the information systematically in the report and format
e. Getting leads from Consultants and sources about projects and working with them on specifications
f. Mapping competition activity
g. Analysis of Market trends in his territory, potential of Business, Business plans, Strive to achieve individual and organization targets quarterly & yearly
h. Defining decision making hierarchy at customers end
i. Submitting proposals in line with potential and getting systematic repeated business at OEMs, Contractors
j. Focus on high quality business
k. Documenting benefits for customers
l. Completing the sales cycle of generating leads, offer making, getting orders, commissioning help and documentation, payment collection
Technical Skills/Competencies:
a. Customer relationship building and maintaining (Rapport Building)
b. Observation skill (with Objective)
c. Competence to derive the solution & conviction to drive initiatives
d. Selling and Negotiation Skills
e. Knowledge about boilers and steam accessories
f. Self-starter and owns the business development
g. Communication skills and ability to get along with people
h. Initiative and ambition to grow
Education: B.E (Mechanical)
Experience: 3-4 years in relevant industry and profile
