Forbes Marshall is India’s Best Manufacturing Work Place 2015
Forbes Marshall has again been selected as one of India’s Best Workplaces, ranking 9th overall among 708 of India’s leading companies, and the best workplace in Manufacturing. The company has consistently ranked in the top 10 Best Workplaces in the country in the last five years, and the top 25 Best Workplaces in the last ten. For the second time, the company has ranked as the Best Manufacturing Workplace in India.
Great Place to Work® Institute recognises great places to work across the globe. These studies are annually conducted across 40 countries around the globe, covering over one million employees. The study does not directly define Employee Engagement in an organization. Instead, it defines a Great Place to Work as an organization where you trust the people you work for, take pride in what you do, and enjoy the company of people you work with. This is one of the few frame-works in the world which looks at the organization from the member’s point of view rather than looking at it from the Organization’s point of view.
Forbes Marshall scores well on Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. Members of the company have rated the management high on these factors. They feel that communications are open and accessible, there is integrity in carrying out the company’s vision with consistency and competence. A general sense of well being, trust, camaraderie and respect for members prevails in the organization. Practices at the workplace are just, equitable and impartial. Members feel a sense of pride in their work, team and company. Members care about each other and provide support; they feel that it is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere there is a feeling of “family” and “team”.
The Great Place to Work® Institute and The Economic Times study follows a unique employee centric methodology. Two thirds weightage is given to employee feedback and the balance one third weightage to the information submitted by the Company against a structured questionnaire provided to the participant companies.
