Engineer Customer Support – Field
Purpose of the Role:
To support customers in maintaining their Forbes Marshall-supplied steam assets and drive Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO) business growth by ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and service excellence.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Conduct commissioning activities for Forbes Marshall products.
• Troubleshoot supplied equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Verify and process warranty claims.
• Generate new proposals for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO) business.
• Provide project support for execution activities.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical guidance to maintain steam asset uptime through timely maintenance and spare stock management.
• Achieve sales targets for AMC and spares business, while expanding market reach within Malaysia.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through a defined KPI matrix based on the company’s Customer Support Division (CSD) policy.
• Resolve technical concerns related to Forbes Marshall systems during commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Travel across Malaysia as needed to support clients.
Role Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer support, maintenance, or field service roles, preferably in steam systems, boilers, or
industrial process equipment.
