Forbes Marshall has successfully installed the Condenser Tube Leak Detection System (CTLDS) at one of the thermal power plants in Indonesia.
Monitoring condensate quality is essential to detect leakages in the condenser. Any leakage in the condenser tube bundle results in loss of vacuum and contamination of pure condensate with condenser cooling water.
Forbes Marshall CTLDS is used to find these leakages in condensers. It consists of a pumping system, sampling panel and AMI CACE SWAN Analyzer. Location of leakage in the condenser is pinpointed by taking the readings of Cation (Acid) conductivity.
