Optimising Bottle Washer Performance and Improving Feed Water Temperature (FWT)

Customer: A leading beverage manufacturer in Thailand

The plant was experiencing issues with condensate stalling due to a float trap at the bottle washer and inefficient condensate recovery relying on a conventional electrical pump and collection tank system, leading to local drainage of condensate and venting of flash steam.

Forbes Marshall engineers conducted a thorough analysis of the plant’s systems and proposed several solutions. Following implementation, the process ran smoothly at set temperatures, with reduced maintenance needs, and enhanced safety. The Feed Water Temperature (FWT) significantly improved. Additionally, a Condensate Recovery Meter (CRM) was introduced to enable accurate condensate measurement, enabling operational efficiency and reliability.
