PET Warmer

A PET Warmer, or PET Bottle Warming Tunnel, is essential in the beverage filling process, especially for carbonated drinks. It gently heats PET bottles to around 30-40°C using hot water generated using steam. This warming process prevents bottle deformation and excessive foaming during filling.

Operational concerns across plants include higher steam consumption, lower productivity, lower condensate recovery, PHE downtime and not being able to achieve the desired time temperature profile.

Maintaining the correct warming temperature is crucial. Excessive temperature damages the plastic and impacts beverage quality. A lower than needed temperature renders the bottles unpliable.
