Thermocompressor Based System
Forbes Marshall thermocompresor based paper drying systems are ideal for high-speed paper machines where the high-pressure motive steam needs to be boosted for recovery. In these systems, the blow through steam is directed to the thermocompressor, where it is compressed and then recirculated at a higher pressure, so it can be reused in the same dryer group. The thermocompressor also compresses steam from the flash vessel to a higher pressure for use in the process. The steam groups can be controlled completely independent of each other.
- Pressure, differential pressure, and level controls
- Auto set point pressure prediction
- Independent pressure control for each group
- High heat transfer efficiency
- Better and consistent SSC
- Improved drying rates
- Precise controls
- Typical payback of 6-7 months
