Celebrating Forty Years of Partnership between Forbes Marshall, India and Shinkawa Electric Co., Japan

Forbes Marshall India and Shinkawa Electric Co., Japan celebrated 40 years of Partnership and Launched next Generation Vibration Monitoring Solution for Rotating Machines Globally during these events at Pune and Delhi on 28 and 29 November 2023. The event was attended by 270+ customers from across India by end users, rotating machine OEMs, Consulting and EPC companies.

During the celebration Forbes Marshall Chairman , Mr Farhad Forbes shared the journey of both companies since 1983 and business growth to the significant level , and shared his views on how family business companies work together by keeping long term view , having a good team and valuing trust in the relationship. He expressed great experiences of their multiple visits to Japan too. Mr Forbes explained further on how this journey went and a large breakthrough business in 2003 after that business grew up to multiple times.

Mr. Fumito Shinkawa , President of Shinkawa electric co limited shared his views on long term partnership along with great customer connections with high quality of solution helps growing business together. He mentioned how partnership began and the Shinkawa company started 96 years ago in Japan. He assured customers that Shinkawa will do customer-oriented innovation to improve the industry and Indian society.

Mr. Tom Fujii, Director Sales introduced next generation products during these events and shared key advantages to all our customers with advanced solutions for Safety and Cyber Security requirements for the customers. He shared how globally Vibration Monitoring awareness is increasing . Mr Matsumoto shared unique solutions for small rotating machines monitoring through wireless sensors by using Mobile Phone.

Mukesh Vyas, Group Business Head, Forbes Marshall explained on how next generation vibration monitoring solutions can help Power Plants , Oil & Gas , Steel , Fertiliser , Cement and other process plants to improve uptime by sharing applications. He also shared how rapidly the business has grown since 2003 with great teamwork from Forbes Marshall & Shinkawa. He mentioned that the Indian Market for Condition Monitoring with advanced software is growing, and the next generation solution will help the customers in multiple ways by giving the right size solution.

Kanako Shinkawa from Shinkawa Electric and Darius Forbes of Forbes Marshall shared their view on future growth of business by using innovative and digital solutions by reassuring customers that both next generation leaders will put energy and effort into their team. Both of them appreciated our customers being there.

Mr. Purohit , Sales Director of Forbes Marshall explained the importance of working hand in hand with customers to innovate right solutions, and thanked all customers.

Mr. Mehul Vaidya , Group Sales Head, was present and added his views on future growth opportunities.

During the events multiple customers expressed their views and shared their views on high quality solutions with great services by Forbes Marshall and Shinkawa. NTPC Executive Director , Engg , Mr Srivastav spoke about how important these products are in power plants. BHEL, IOCL , Reliance , Adani , EIL , DCM Shriram , Siemens , Triveni , SAIL , L&T and many more customers were there and expressed their views of satisfaction and wished both companies future success.

During this event live demonstrations of products and solutions were displayed which gave customers a good picture of vibration monitoring solutions.
